Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address, and the photo you upload of your pet, when you create a pawtrait.
• Shipping name and address, if you order a physical print.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
• Your name, email address and message, if you contact us through our Contact us form — used only to reply to you.
• Your email address, if you ask us to email you your preview — used to send it, plus up to two reminders about it (you can stop them from any of those emails). We only add you to our offers list if you tick the box.
• Anonymous page-visit data (which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, how far down a page they scroll, what they tap, and how long they spend on it) — this is not tied to your identity or a tracking cookie.
• Recordings of how the site is used (mouse movements, taps and scrolling) through Microsoft Clarity, so we can see where the site is confusing and improve it. Text you type is hidden, and your account pages are never shown. Clarity only uses cookies if you tap "Accept" on the cookie banner.
• If you follow a referral link, a small cookie remembers the referral code so the referrer can be credited.

How we use it

• Your uploaded photo is sent to an AI image-generation provider to create your pawtrait, and is never used for anything else.
• Your email is used to send order confirmations, your digital download link (if applicable), shipping updates, and — only if you opt in — occasional offers.
• Your shipping address is used to fulfil and deliver physical orders, including sharing it with our print/fulfilment partner.

How long we keep it

Uploaded photos and generated previews are automatically deleted 7 days after upload for orders that are never purchased. For completed (shipped or digitally delivered) orders, the same 7-day window applies once the order is fulfilled.

Who we share data with

We only share what's necessary to run the service:

• Stripe, to process payment.
• Our AI image-generation provider, to create your pawtrait from your uploaded photo.
• Our print/fulfilment partner, for physical orders only, to print and ship your order.
• Our email provider, to send you order-related and (if opted in) marketing emails.
• Microsoft Clarity, to understand how visitors use the site (see above).
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram), through the Meta Pixel — only if you tap "Accept" on our cookie banner — so we can measure our ads and show our ads to people who've visited.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you signed in, one (admin-only) for our internal admin area, and one that remembers a referral code if you followed a referral link. If you tap "Accept" on our cookie banner, Microsoft Clarity also sets cookies that link the pages of your visit together, and the Meta Pixel sets advertising cookies so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people who've visited. Tap "Decline" and neither does.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by contacting us at info@pawandparish.com. If you joined our mailing list, every email includes an unsubscribe option.
